The grooms cousins husbands brother recommended it during a chance encounter in town and since it was only about 40 minutes away from home, it made for an ideal location for the grooms family and friends to get to. A welcome dinner was hosted on the first evening at the estates neighboring restaurant, Dopolavoro.
In lieu of a traditional rehearsaldinner the evening before, the grooms family hosted a Persian wedding ceremony and reception to honor Camerons family heritage. The celebration was not just limited to the wedding day, however. The classic A-line included a large, beautiful bow in the middle of her train.

Kick off the festivities with an incredible rehearsaldinner featuring a variety of mouthwatering pizzas from the adorable pizza cart. We also had each of our siblings involved in the ceremony as well–Prayers by the groom’s brother-in-law/best man and bride’s sister and a reading by the groom’s sister.

The overall feel of the wedding had a subtle nod to Italy with a dreamy floral sensibility using garden blooms in shades of blush, nude, taupe, muted copper, terra-cotta, orange, marigold and butter yellow in aged terra-cotta urns.
Maria Camila had always dreamed of a rehearsaldinner with a touch of Italy, featuring lemons and hints of blue, and they found the perfect setting in a typical Italian restaurant overlooking the picturesque Lake Como. the bride’s favorite finger food was Fassona beef tartare with black truffle!

Bride and groom changed into Adidas tracksuits for the second half of the reception. Adidas track suits are very popular in Easter Europe and the groom is a huge fan…so much so that he wore a bright red Adidas tracksuit on their second date (to paint gnomes). Low, sleek bun.
