The grooms cousins husbands brother recommended it during a chance encounter in town and since it was only about 40 minutes away from home, it made for an ideal location for the grooms family and friends to get to. It was actually the only venue we visited before we made our decision.

When we booked our first trip, several of her bridesmaids came, along with myself and the mother of the groom. They achieved this by having the friend who had originally introduced them officiate the wedding and by creating an emotional musical soundtrack narrative to complement their self-written ceremony script.

They enlisted the help of Del Cabo Weddings , who designed and executed a sumptuous South Asian celebration from the ground up. No detail was spared, from the bridal party’s intricately painted henna hands to the groom’s arrival on horseback.

field] [field title=”Florals & Decor”]A breathtaking focal point of the weddingceremony was the stunning 6-foot floral arch adorned with Butterfly ranunculus and spray roses, perfectly complementing the lush apricot lisianthus.
To give even more importance to the imperial table where bride and groom were seated, they decorate full of greenery and flowers one arcade of the crypt. A wonderful memory for a special wedding day that is now on their coffee table. For the dinner at the iconic crypt we had one imperial table mixed with 4 round tables.
The ceremony takes place in the gorgeous tiny garden of Bastide de Toursainte , with the arch placed near the French fountain wall framed with seasonal flowers. The florist created a flower-filled outdoor weddingceremony space using seasonal flower arrangements that were stunning in their simplicity.

The theme for our weddingceremony was “Florentine Fairytale” and we wanted the color palette and florals to accent the backdrop of the Tuscan countryside. Our Mandap perfectly framed the medieval Borgo village in the background and we specifically designed to look like a picture frame for our ceremony.
The groom’s cake was a golf theme with his alma-mater mascot on top and him and Emily Wood’s two dogs at the bottom. She loves flowers and envisioned her weddingceremony taking place in a garden. It perfectly suited the bride! There were tree installs put in behind to really accent the garden party feel.
The couple desired to incorporate elements of their hometown throughout their wedding weekend for their guests to enjoy – beginning with a waterfront rehearsal dinner to selecting one of the oldest churches for their weddingceremony to an intimate cocktail hour in a local art gallery that featured Lowcountry artists’ work.
Then, to highlight the groom’s English side, our designer, sourced glass cloches filled with English bread pudding for. On their invites, they told all guests the ceremony would start at 4pm but really they had the cocktail hour before the weddingceremony. Permalink | Comments | Add to del.icio.us
