With the help of Claudia and Pamela (our amazing wedding planners), we were able to make the vision come to life. Our biggest splurge on the wedding day was the flowers! Totally worth it, especially the flowers above the headtable and the stage. The flowers really tied together the entire wedding design.

The dress was “Harper Gown” in the color steel blue stretch! Hers: Skinny Margarita & His: Vodka, ginger ale, lemon & lime or as the groom likes to call it, his “Golf Cocktail.” All our wedding flowers were mostly white, with subtle touches of light blue & greenery.
It was a high low (mini dress from the front, and a long train in the back). field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Rob, unlike most grooms, was VERY involved! What he wore throughout the entire wedding weekend was important to him! Fun, flirty and a little unexpected! And the best part was… IT HAD POCKETS!
In the center of the room, coming straight from the dance floor toward the back of the room was the 32ft long kings table where the aisle pieces from ceremony were transferred and became the runner on top of this dramatic headtable. 6 other round tables flanked the headtable with sweet low centerpieces and more candles.

[/field] [field title=”Florals & Decor”] D’marosay’s wedding vision was to include lots of textures over patterns- just like her gown! The headtables featured white jacquard linens, a favorite textile of the brides, and the guest tables featured an ivory overlay. Guests absolutely loved it!
I found vintage peacocks at an antique store for the headtable, and used them in my invites and wedding signage. I wore my grandma’s vintage clip on earrings that my mom wore on her wedding day. And I picked a floral Monique Lhuillier weddingdress to go with my love of all things colorful and romantic.”[/field]

We chose an all-inclusive headtable with our wedding party to allow us to take in the celebration feeling like we were amongst everyone we love. The Mixology by Melissa team ensured the cocktails were personal to us and an experience all on their own. For us, our ceremony had to accomplish two things in this regard.

The aim was to create an elegant wedding celebration that was chic and eclectic with both traditional and contemporary French touches! field] [field title=”Proposal Story”] For the bride’s birthday, the groom said they’d be visiting Paris! The headtable was definitely the stand out!
The wedding party then shuttled down to Forge in the Forest in Carmel-by-the-Sea, a Clint Eastwood hang out spot, for the welcome party. The bride stunned in her embroidered mini Zimmerman dress and the groom looked suave in his Suit Supply garb. They hung chandeliers in the tree behind the headtable.

The room was flipped during cocktail time, so when you re-entered the reception, a long headtable sat where the original aisle was during the ceremony. We filled in a lush and long row of baby’s breath down the length of the table.
The person who catches the bouquet is said to be married next Buck’s night- a gathering of the groom-to-be’s closest friends to celebrate their friendship and his upcoming marriage (also called a “bachelor party”) Buffet- a variety of dishes displayed on tables that guests can create their own plates from.
