Preparation and Setup Sam and Tim’s fall wedding at Goodstone Inn really was all hands on deck! On-site preparations kicked off the Tuesday before the wedding with tent crews arriving to start the installation for this 200-person event. It was a perfect way to wind down and savor the joy of the day.

Initially, I envisioned a timeless wedding, hence the choice of the beautiful Lowndes Grove venue, the elegant black & white checkered dance floor, and the stylish tuxedos. From the stunning bouquets to the gorgeous dance floor installation with floating “orbs,” every detail was perfection.

Over the course of three days, we designed a series of unique events at the groom’s family ranch that were filled with fun and interactive guest experiences and details. A delicious dessert table filled with the couple’s favorite treats was highlighted by a small weddingcake for cutting.

Together, Leila James Events and Stone Blossom designed a stunning, draping delphinium installation was added over the head table, which created an extra pop of blue to the already breathtaking surroundings. The bride wanted the head table to feel as though you were dining amongst the flowers in an upside down garden.
Signature drinks: Bride – Grapefruit Cosmo, Groom – Negroni During the reception guests were served a heart of palm and Florida citrus salad as the starter, followed by a choice of grilled filet with gratin potato, seared Florida grouper with herbed risotto, or mushroom ravioli atop cauliflower steak as the main entree.
field] [field title=”Florals & Decor”]The floral design featured dramatic, large-scale installations accentuating areas such as the grand staircase, the stone fireplace mantle (standing 15′ high!), and the grand tunnel entrance to the Glass Hall.
It was made complete with a colorful ceiling installation, disco balls, a hat wall, and the musical talent of the Dry Water Band. field] [field title=”WeddingCake”] Butterfly Cakery provided a delicous and beautiful cake. The cake table was lined with colorful florals.
Celebrating the chocolatier’s 95th anniversary, both installations served as photo ops for passersby in the city. Russell Stover also outfitted the wedding party with bow ties, pocket squares and socks for the groomsmen, and robes and bouquet pendant charms for the bridesmaids.
For the wedding day the color theme was kept the same, mostly white and green with a few touches of blue. The 5-foot hanging floral installation over the bar was a statement piece in itself. The groom’s cake was carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.
Goldfinch Events also incorporated a fun disco ball installation over the reception tables for Hope’s fun and upbeat personality. The Groom’s signature drink was a whiskey ginger mule with a lime garnish. While guests were arriving they were greeted with cold Arnold Palmers to make their way to the ceremony.
