The bride changed into a remodeled wedding reception dress previously worn by the Bride’s mother, tailored by Delia’s Alterations in Nashville.[/field] The groom changed into a Western-Inspired suit from Sister Jane for the reception and wore a Roy Rogers bolo tie gifted by the bride’s deceased grandfather.

“It was so beautiful and intimate and everything we’d wanted”, say the grooms.[/field] Leaning into the Cinco de Mayo date, the couple welcomed guests to the reception with festive welcome shots to set a lively tone. Part of the trip was spent in the beautiful Ritz Carlton Resort in Half Moon Bay.

Each gentleman’s ensemble was finished with a single, dramatic anemone boutonnire, its stark white petals and dark center creating an artistic accent against the rich fabric.

The grooms cousins husbands brother recommended it during a chance encounter in town and since it was only about 40 minutes away from home, it made for an ideal location for the grooms family and friends to get to. It was actually the only venue we visited before we made our decision.

Outdoors, string lights over a full circular bar and touches of a floral print brought a touch of magic to that space.
field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The bride and the groom wanted to keep everything chic and subtle but we wanted to design something that would stand out, this is why we decided to have the mirrored aisle for the ceremony. This along with the beautiful floral arrangements created a stunning result which we all loved!
field] [field title=”Proposal Story”]From our groom, Colin: “When you’ve been dating a person for seven years, hiding a proposal is a challenge. At the reception, guests enjoyed a first course of a fall Harvest Salad with apples, field greens, goat cheese, candied pecans, cider vinaigrette. You know too much!

For the reception, I wanted it to feel intimate, filled with the subtle glow of candles and soft lighting that would envelop our guests in warmth. For the reception, I chose a dress by Essense of Australia, which complemented my ceremony dress beautifully. It felt like the most perfect dress for my special day.
The Groom surprised his Bride by popping the question on one of their usual morning walks down by the lakeshore, with their young daughter and puppy by their side.
