For their Welcome Party on the eve of their wedding day, Maddie opted for a strapless drop-waist white dress with a pleated skirt from designer Acler, paired with beautifully patterned blue and floral motif pumps from Manolo Blahnik. Kick off the festivities with an incredible rehearsaldinner featuring a variety of mouthwatering pizzas from the adorable pizza cart. Bride and groom changed into Adidas tracksuits for the second half of the reception. Adidas track suits are very popular in Easter Europe and the groom is a huge fan…so much so that he wore a bright red Adidas tracksuit on their second date (to paint gnomes). Designed by Lihi Hod, the gown not only appealed to Alexa’s minimalist nature, but also created a statement of elegance and timelessness. The bride encouraged the bridesmaids to wear their choice of designer and gown style. The unique choices of the bridesmaids floor length gowns helped to set the tone to the black tie affair.
I also wore a gold and diamond bracelet that Danny dropped off at my parents’ house on the morning of the wedding. As much as I adored my weddinggown, I loved changing into a second dancing dress by Simkhai. For the rehearsaldinner, I wore a maxi by Elie Saab. I chose to wear white for the whole weekend.
Light, cornflower, blue of particular importance to the bride, was used throughout the wedding from the invitations, to the ceremony cite, bridesmaids dresses, and day of stationery. spirits, a vendor which they chose as it mimicked the groom’s namesake. They of course, also served, Sunstone Villa wine. Bar: BevMo!
