The grooms cousins husbands brother recommended it during a chance encounter in town and since it was only about 40 minutes away from home, it made for an ideal location for the grooms family and friends to get to. It was actually the only venue we visited before we made our decision.

We chose to keep the rehearsal dinner at Acre Resort in more neutral tones so that our wedding day and reception really popped.
