To cap off the night, we surprised our guests with a late-night treat from Chick-fil-A, which was a big hit and added a playful touch to our reception. Reception Gown: Safiyaa Perfect for dancing – Unique and Elegant but a more relaxed feel. For the reception, tables were dressed with white embossed jacquard linens. Still, we chose to add color to the reception through the table linens from BBJ and florals from Tourterelle to match the “late summer garden party” vibe. The reception vision was to be a grand tent out in the middle of an expansive hay field on the property. We kept everything a bit more neutral for the ceremony.
Although the venue is gorgeous with high ceilings and a ton of character lending to its history, we wanted to turn it into a garden vibe and create that WOW moment both when walking into ceremony and then again after the room turn, when seeing the reception decked out in white and textural details.[/field]
Couples were greeted by a “Love Life” neon sign at the participating restaurants and presented with themed placemats and customized food and cocktail menus inspired by the series and its characters. The streaming service partnered with events platform Black Restaurant Week and dating app BLK for the activations.
Together, they epitomized the spirit of the roaring twenties, infusing the celebration with a sense of vintage charm and joie de vivre that enchanted all present. From the ceremony’s grandeur to the reception’s intimacy, the floral design elevated every moment, creating a truly unforgettable ambiance of elegance and romance.
We wanted to be present. The Groomsmen wore their own suits and opted for a casual no-tie look. Reception floral included large groupings of lavender tulips, paired with other tropical florals. It was never about what I wanted… we wanted it to feel like us, and it did. Unbothered by the usual stresses of the wedding day.
Shades of green, honey, dusty blush, terracotta and ivory presented in the florals, paper details and bridesmaids attire, beautifully complementing the Colorado mountain setting. She accessorized the gown with a cathedral length veil, Loeffler and Randall shoes, and a crystal headband for the reception.
