Emma had all invitation suites letterpressed, with neutral colors and a monogram that we incorporated not only in the invitation suite, but also throughout the weddingdesign. field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]The groom got his tux custom made from Suit Supply, and the groomsmen got their tux’s from Black Tux!
Reception Gown: Safiyaa Perfect for dancing – Unique and Elegant but a more relaxed feel. Both elements also tie into the organic, garden inspiration you see throughout the weddingdesign. The bride and groom mentioned that the design and florals ‘completely knocked their socks off!’

The groomsmen coordinated everything through an online portal, ensuring all pieces were accounted for without any hassle. I highly recommend them.[/field]
[/field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”] The couple decided to get married in Indian Wells, where Mary’s parents reside part-time and they have enjoyed many trips with family and friends. The weddingdesign embodied an organic, yet modern vibe by adding pops of natural textures like stone and wood.
Against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Washington and Mountain Rainer at Seattle Tennis Club , the ceremony area was transformed into a verdant oasis, evoking a sense of serenity and natural beauty, seamlessly extending into the indoor reception. The ceremony music was performed by harpist Monica Schley to create a more romantic vibe.

Marek is a fan of architecture, so we brought in touches of the Mont La Salle building details into the stationery design, constructed a custom seating display (in the style of one of their fav Chicago hangouts), and upgraded the reception chairs to something a bit more modern. The Groomsmen wore The Black Tux.

Melding these visions was truly one of my favorite weddings to design.
Nick did not have groomsmen but did get ready for the wedding with our dads and his closest friends. The wedding was black tie, so Nick’s friends all wore tuxedos. He did not have groomsmen. We had intentional restraint while designing to create a feeling of quiet luxury.

One of our groomsmen also read a passage inspired by Homer’s Odyssey and his love of Penelope.

Olivia + Josh meticulously wove their boho Fall theme throughout the details of their special day, from their dramatic florals to their wedding ceremony tent, built just for them, to their moody color palette and their weddingreception under the stars of the Pacific Northwest.
The groom was dressed by City tailors Bath and groomsmen wore navy suits from Jack Bunneys London. After enjoying a Champagne and Canape reception, guests were invited into the marquee, which looked exquisite with hanging florals above the dining tables.
It was lined with a custom pattern which was adopted from the wedding stationery. The groomsmen wore custom ties to coordinate with Tylan’s suit. The groomsmen suits were custom Alton Lane suits and the bridesmaids wore Monique Lhouillier. Even Ralph, Jen and Tylan’s golden retriever, got his own custom bowtie and leash!
Golden hour typically starts the first 30 minutes after sunrise, the final hour prior to true sunset, though most sunset photo shoots last about 30 minutes after sunset Grand entrance- a presentation of the newly weds, often the bridal party is included and occasionally close family members are included.
They painted the exterior of the house, tended to the yard, grew hand-cut flowers in our desired colour palate, and even cleared out all the furniture inside to host the reception. The weddingdesign beautifully blended romance and nostalgia, perfectly complementing the intimate setting of my childhood home.
