The weddingdesign embodied an organic, yet modern vibe by adding pops of natural textures like stone and wood.
I purchased my weddinggown at Ivory & White Bridal Boutique in Mountain Brook, Alabama. The dress was “Harper Gown” in the color steel blue stretch! My veil & custom earrings to match the flowers on my dress were both from Ivory & White as well. They were slim fit with a tied bow across the chest!
Designed by Lihi Hod, the gown not only appealed to Alexa’s minimalist nature, but also created a statement of elegance and timelessness. The unique choices of the bridesmaids floor length gowns helped to set the tone to the black tie affair.

The gown featured a dramatic slit and exquisite lace sleeves, perfectly blending modern flair with timeless beauty. It included heartfelt readings and prayers from family and friends, as well as a special musical performance by one of the groomsmen.
For my wedding dress, I picked a Mira Zwillinger gown which was actually one of the first I tried on. Nick did not have groomsmen but did get ready for the wedding with our dads and his closest friends. The wedding was black tie, so Nick’s friends all wore tuxedos. He did not have groomsmen.
