The wedding day design embodied a relaxed elegance reminiscent of Serena and Lily, featuring a mix of patterned linens, rattan accents, and clusters of blue and white florals.
Coincidentally, my brother, who was working in Wyoming, was headed to the lake with us. After a full day on the lake, we headed to Haydens house to get ready for dinner at The Summit Club. But when I tried on the dress, I instantly knew it was special by my family’s reactions. At that moment, I felt it was destiny!
We wanted the wedding to be timeless, elegant, and romantic. Luke and Lexies favorite spot has always been Querencia, so when it came time to choose a wedding venue, it only made sense to do it there! With the help of Claudia and Pamela (our amazing wedding planners), we were able to make the vision come to life.
We brought in lucite/acrylic in with the chairs, headtable “acrylic” place mats, and lucite napkin rings. With the color that came through in the floral and tables, the bride had her bridesmaids in white to create a very modern look with wedding party and ceremony moments.

With only a few weeks left of school, we discovered wed both be in Europe after graduation. Though I thought I found my dream dress at the first location, I decided to wait. This took the pressure off, and I was able to fully enjoy the rest of the day, trying on dresses that fit my vision. I highly recommend them.[/field]

The headtable was also a showstopper, adorned with a stunning long and low arrangement that traversed the entire length of the table. From the couple… Will has a very special watch that he wore for the day of the wedding, his late brother Nicholas’s watch. The bride wanted the headtable to feel as though you were dining amongst the flowers in an upside down garden. Will had every detail planned for the moment.
It was a high low (mini dress from the front, and a long train in the back). We also knew that we wanted one VERY LONG headtable where we were surrounded by all of our closest friends and family — one long table with about 50 people & it was PERFECT! All the classic wedding songs & our band was INSANE!!!

We wanted to incorporate the landscape into their wedding design and feel like their wedding really was part of the rolling hills of the Carneros Region. The structure over the headtable was a little something special for the bride and groom and wedding party. Do you have a pen?”
From the bride- “For the wedding I kept the inspiration of vintage, colorful, and romantic for the design and Emily at Bird Dog was the perfect person to help bring it to life! I found vintage peacocks at an antique store for the headtable, and used them in my invites and wedding signage. in January 2022.
The Taylor Swift-inspired butterfly cake on the headtable was the crown jewel among cake pops, macaroons, cookie bars and even more cakes! So she had the idea to tell the story of how Owen and I met to the wedding through MICE! The bride’s love for Taylor Swift also had its moments throughout the day too![/field]
Their plated meal started with a first course of curried crab cakes with mango chutney on top. [/field] [field title=”Florals & Decor”] D’marosay’s wedding vision was to include lots of textures over patterns- just like her gown! Soon, he was on one knee with a beautiful ring, and of course, I said yes!
Emma was drawn to the elegant look of the Ines Di Santo gown, and the uniqueness of the dress being hand painted in Italy created that one of a kind feeling! Her reception dress, by designer Lela Rose, was also her rehearsal dinner dress, “I loved it so much I had to wear it again” said the bride.[/field]

The custom green-pattern dance floor was a last minute addition recommendation of my wedding planner ( Katie Ryan ) that not only complimented and unified the colors and details of the tent but also became the stunning focal point. I traveled to New York City to try the dress on and instantly knew it was the one.
