I was joined by my mom, mother-in-law, maid of honor, and matron of honor as we spent the day visiting bridal shops around metro Detroit. Our floral arrangements included a mix of tall centerpieces, delicate bud vases, and a striking long arrangement for the 32-person headtable, offering visual interest and variety.

The Taylor Swift-inspired butterfly cake on the headtable was the crown jewel among cake pops, macaroons, cookie bars and even more cakes! field] [field title=”Wedding Cake”] Multiple cakes adorned several tables throughout the reception – most notably the Taylor Swift-inspired butterfly cake at the headtable.

field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”] Bridesmaids wore sleek light sage dresses by Jenny Yoo, and the bride’s two sisters, who were her maid of honors, had specialty floral printed dresses, also by Jenny Yoo, to stand out! We then brightened it up with bold florals and deep pink candles.
Wedding Reception Details Moving into the reception which was set to perfection! Our head-table featured the same poofs we utilized for the ceremony, giving it the drama it needs sitting in front of the Clementine historic organ. Small bouquets were used to scale the length of the head-table below the tall poufs.
The person who catches the bouquet is said to be married next Buck’s night- a gathering of the groom-to-be’s closest friends to celebrate their friendship and his upcoming marriage (also called a “bachelor party”) Buffet- a variety of dishes displayed on tables that guests can create their own plates from.
