Guests were seated at two headtables spanning the family living room of her childhood home, and additional seating continued on both the front and back patios, as well as around the family pool.[/field] The fresh strawberry cake with vanilla buttercream was a one tier, oversized square embellished with refreshing berries.

[/field] [field title=”Florals & Decor”]We designed a gorgeous wedding and kept in mind the colors of the room when choosing the canvas of the linens and chairs keeping to a neutral base. The design was a painted delicate tropical design that brought the elegance of the venue while still being colorful and festive.
For the Headtable we will order velvet linens and design a living arrangement down the entire center of the table with brass candlesticks. The headtable was a focal point of beauty, adorned with cascading chandeliers, a monochromatic floral runner, and custom linens paired with coordinating menus.[/field] This combination perfectly complemented the stunning water views and the timeless coastal ambiance the bride envisioned.
field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]Kali and Hayden opted for a 4 Tier WeddingCake made by The Gasparilla Inn & Club. The top tier was a Pink Champagne Cake with Lemon Bavarian Filling, while the bottom tiers had White Cake with Vanilla Pastry Cream Filling For added taste (and fun!)
The inspiration behind them was doing an overhang over the headtable of lush pink and white flowers with greenery mixed in. I wanted the greenery to look like moss coming down to fit the theme of Bald Head and the Spanish moss. We had round tables throughout for our guests with a white Chivari chair.
She even sourced gorgeous silk white bows for the inner ceremony seats that were later moved to the headtable. Amanda from Embellished Weddings brought her expertise in decor and rentals, suggesting a stunning blush linen from Nuage Designs that echoed the 3D floral appliqus of my gown!
We brought in lucite/acrylic in with the chairs, headtable “acrylic” place mats, and lucite napkin rings. With the color that came through in the floral and tables, the bride had her bridesmaids in white to create a very modern look with wedding party and ceremony moments.
Our biggest splurge on the wedding day was the flowers! Totally worth it, especially the flowers above the headtable and the stage. The flowers really tied together the entire wedding design. We used mirrored place cards, which matched our mirror welcome sign!

Together, Leila James Events and Stone Blossom designed a stunning, draping delphinium installation was added over the headtable, which created an extra pop of blue to the already breathtaking surroundings.

In addition to weddingcake, a dessert bar was on display with mini eclairs, tarts, French macarons, and creme puffs.[/field] Being seaside, guests enjoyed fresh seafood of jumbo prawns and oysters during cocktail hour. A plated meal was served for dinner of sea bass and filet mignon.

Guest tables dazzled with Anna Petal white linens, floral chargers, and champagne napkins, all paired with glimmering gold chairs and glassware for a touch of glow. The focal point headtable commanded attention with overhead floral globes, abundant garlands, and ample candlelight.[/field]
The bride’s favorite flowers, Ranunculus & white tulips, were incorporated throughout the wedding florals. The headtable was the focal point of the reception flowers featured a lush table runner of florals, greenery & taper candles.
Serving as the pièce de résistance, a magnificent cascading floral runner adorned the headtable, commanding attention with its sheer beauty. field] [field title=”WeddingCake”] For the weddingcake, our aspiration was to evoke a vintage-inspired charm, drawing upon beloved styles from the past.
In the center of the room, coming straight from the dance floor toward the back of the room was the 32ft long kings table where the aisle pieces from ceremony were transferred and became the runner on top of this dramatic headtable. 6 other round tables flanked the headtable with sweet low centerpieces and more candles.
I found vintage peacocks at an antique store for the headtable, and used them in my invites and wedding signage. I wore my grandma’s vintage clip on earrings that my mom wore on her wedding day. And I picked a floral Monique Lhuillier wedding dress to go with my love of all things colorful and romantic.”[/field]
The Taylor Swift-inspired butterfly cake on the headtable was the crown jewel among cake pops, macaroons, cookie bars and even more cakes! The main cake, was topped with two puppies. The puppy cake toppers were a total surprise!!! From the bride.
The custom green-pattern dance floor was a last minute addition recommendation of my wedding planner ( Katie Ryan ) that not only complimented and unified the colors and details of the tent but also became the stunning focal point.
For their wedding dinner, guests dined on ceviche of sea bass and a filet of beef served with a potato cake and truffles. After dinner, the couple cut their signature weddingcake, a 4-tired pink lemonade cake made of lemon cake with lemon curd, raspberries, vanilla crumble, and raspberry filling.
Placing them in areas like the headtable, caketable and DJ booth. For dinner, guests were seated at rows of farm tables decorated with a mix of bud vases and taper candles of varying heights and shapes, this is a beautiful way to add movement and dimension to the tables.
The room was flipped during cocktail time, so when you re-entered the reception, a long headtable sat where the original aisle was during the ceremony. We filled in a lush and long row of baby’s breath down the length of the table. It was the only proper setup for a cake that was so gorgeous!
For the reception space, bunches of tulips lined the two headtables bring a feeling of organic elegance. The surrounding tables were adorned with bunches of other white flowers from roses to hydrangeas creating a frame of texture yet allowing the tulips to be the stand out moment.
Their cake was a spectacular six layers with floral cascade that mimicked the cascades on the headtable. Lush peonies, roses, hydrangea and orchids were just a handful of the beautiful blooms we used. Layering a variety of textured helped us to ensure we didn’t get lost in a sea of white.
Arches were carried through the entire wedding day starting with a triple arch ceremony backdrop, then into the cocktail hour with a cane arch bar with dusty pink barstools and arch gold back bars.[/field] Velvet grass pendants + a mix of gold and clear pendants hung above the table with greenery and florals to create a lush tabletop.
We chose an all-inclusive headtable with our wedding party to allow us to take in the celebration feeling like we were amongst everyone we love. The Mixology by Melissa team ensured the cocktails were personal to us and an experience all on their own.
Each guest was presented with bespoke menus from Peak Event Services , and the headtable featured place cards nestled within small clay potted plants, hand-lettered with guests’ names by Pretty in Ink. and Jackie Kennedy’s wedding.
I loved the dainty and ethereal look of baby’s breath, which we incorporated into my bridesmaids bouquets, headtable runner and some tall “cloud” like table arrangements. I will say, the cake tastings with my parents were very fun – they were so excited to try all the different flavors.
