We brought in lucite/acrylic in with the chairs, headtable “acrylic” place mats, and lucite napkin rings. Lovelily Flowers over delivered in every area, but one of the top WOW moments was her headtable install we all dreamed up together. The cake was simple, with a little white texture added to it.
The inspiration behind them was doing an overhang over the headtable of lush pink and white flowers with greenery mixed in. I wanted the greenery to look like moss coming down to fit the theme of Bald Head and the Spanish moss. We had round tables throughout for our guests with a white Chivari chair.

The cloud like, romantic dress was a big inspiration for the dreamy, airy vision for my wedding day. The headtable was a lively mix of colorful tapered candles in glass hurricanes, sprigs of greenery, and bud vases. Centerpieces were a mix of floral bouquets in ceramic footed vases, and wooden lodge lanterns nested in greenery.
The color blocking around the reception tied all of the headtable greenery in! The bride’s bouquet was a mix of all colors used at the color blocking wedding![/field] field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]Opted for no cake at this event.
As desert we served our weddingcake and a desert table. We decided on a long gold mirrored headtable for the welcome party and family surrounded by round tables in the courtyard. The voluminous skirt was detachable so she could go from a show-stopping and romantic look at a ceremony to a chic and refined ensemble at the reception. [/field] [field title=”Florals & Decor”] D’marosay’s wedding vision was to include lots of textures over patterns- just like her gown!
This A-line gown, embroidered with floral applique had a glitter tulle and bows on the shoulders. There were patterns brought to life on the table with multiple texture elements. The headtable was a beautiful BBJ La Tavola linen.
From the bride… Another memorable item on the day was a necklace I wore, which my mom gave to me on the wedding day. The bride wanted the headtable to feel as though you were dining amongst the flowers in an upside down garden. The combination of natural beauty and floral elegance was magical.
Cara was always in awe over royal weddings, admiring the long trains and regal veils. Serving as the pièce de résistance, a magnificent cascading floral runner adorned the headtable, commanding attention with its sheer beauty.
I purchased my weddinggown at Ivory & White Bridal Boutique in Mountain Brook, Alabama. The bride’s favorite flowers, Ranunculus & white tulips, were incorporated throughout the wedding florals. My veil & custom earrings to match the flowers on my dress were both from Ivory & White as well.
To customize her look she added off-the-shoulder sleeves with three-dimensional lace, reflected throughout the gown’s design. Ample ivory arrangements elevated the open space with a floral archway over the couple’s headtable.
field] [field title=”WeddingCake”] In lieu of weddingcake, the couple chose a more traditional “Florida” dessert option of key lime pie with coconut whipped ganache, coconut sorbet, passion fruit foam, and margarita gel. The same floral color palette was carried through to the reception space.
The custom green-pattern dance floor was a last minute addition recommendation of my wedding planner ( Katie Ryan ) that not only complimented and unified the colors and details of the tent but also became the stunning focal point.
She chose an elegant strapless gown with a deep sweetheart neckline, which she paired with a sophisticated pearl bolero for the ceremony. field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”] The bridesmaids were a vision of contemporary elegance with their matching black floor-length satin gowns. For their wedding dinner, guests dined on ceviche of sea bass and a filet of beef served with a potato cake and truffles. The headtable was definitely the stand out!
The Taylor Swift-inspired butterfly cake on the headtable was the crown jewel among cake pops, macaroons, cookie bars and even more cakes! The main cake, was topped with two puppies. The puppy cake toppers were a total surprise!!! From the bride.
I found vintage peacocks at an antique store for the headtable, and used them in my invites and wedding signage. I wore my grandma’s vintage clip on earrings that my mom wore on her wedding day. We chose an all-inclusive headtable with our wedding party to allow us to take in the celebration feeling like we were amongst everyone we love. The Mixology by Melissa team ensured the cocktails were personal to us and an experience all on their own.
Placing them in areas like the headtable, caketable and DJ booth. For dinner, guests were seated at rows of farm tables decorated with a mix of bud vases and taper candles of varying heights and shapes, this is a beautiful way to add movement and dimension to the tables.
The room was flipped during cocktail time, so when you re-entered the reception, a long headtable sat where the original aisle was during the ceremony. We filled in a lush and long row of baby’s breath down the length of the table. It was the only proper setup for a cake that was so gorgeous!
My wedding dress was the second dress I tried on. Their cake was a spectacular six layers with floral cascade that mimicked the cascades on the headtable. Although I tried on many after that I kept coming back to it. Lush peonies, roses, hydrangea and orchids were just a handful of the beautiful blooms we used.
Each guest was presented with bespoke menus from Peak Event Services , and the headtable featured place cards nestled within small clay potted plants, hand-lettered with guests’ names by Pretty in Ink. and Jackie Kennedy’s wedding.

Our dining tables played off of richer colors with our rentals, like our Forest Green linens, a fun patterned headtable linen, and the rich deep brown stoneware charger to bring a nod to the dark, moody vibe of the dinner barn. She even sourced gorgeous silk white bows for the inner ceremony seats that were later moved to the headtable. Amanda from Embellished Weddings brought her expertise in decor and rentals, suggesting a stunning blush linen from Nuage Designs that echoed the 3D floral appliqus of my gown!
The focal point of the ceremony was the stunning floral arbor, which continued to dazzle guests behind the bride and groom at the headtable. This rounded arch was adorned with lush foliage, intertwining vines, and an array of blooming flowers, creating a truly enchanting and vibrant display.
A band stage floating on heavenly hydrangea clouds, a curtain of tulips draped behind the headtable and a collection of carefully placed cherub statues had her well versed, NYC wedding guests gasping once they settled into their seats. We went with Creme Brûlée flavor and a simple design.
Anything that I could have dream up in my head was right in front of me, so we just built upon it from the pocket gardens on the headtable to the greenery attached to all of the existing bistro lights. Tip: ask bridesmaids to save the extra fabric from alterations so it can be used on wedding day.
