To add sophistication to the wedding colors, we incorporated deep purple and deep pink as well as their pastel counterparts to soften the day. They also wanted to incorporate delicate details from their weddingdesign including butler passed hors d’oeuvres with matching floral napkins draped over the servers arms.
Each part of the day was thoughtfully designed to feel classic yet unique – a classic-shaped arbor was paired with meandering aisle florals popping up from the ground. I had a vision in mind for what I thought I wanted in a weddingdress something elegant, timeless, and comfortable enough for the day I had planned. The ladies listened carefully, asked me about my wedding day details, and then pulled a selection of dresses they thought Id love.
But this is exactly why it was so fun to play with them within the context of our design. Hopefully these gorgeous chairs will inspire couples to be brave with their own weddingdesigns, and to pick details that really reflect them, rather than making decisions based on what they think they should have.
For the reception, the team curated a romantic atmosphere that captivated the senses with dramatic hanging installations of pink, violet, and white delphinium and larkspur, intertwined with sparkling chandeliers. Together, Leila James Events and Stone Blossom designed a stunning, draping delphinium installation was added over the head table, which created an extra pop of blue to the already breathtaking surroundings. The bride wanted the head table to feel as though you were dining amongst the flowers in an upside down garden.
Vivian connected with those words as she wanted a dress she wouldn’t want to take off all night but also one that was comfortable to move in. Vivian’s after party dress was a light blue Rachel Gilbert ruffle dress – she wanted to bring a pop of color to the night once she took her weddingdress off.[/field]
With a chapel length train it was recommended to the bride that she sit on a bench so her train could reach out behind her since it was part of the overall inspiration for the weddingdesign.
