The guest experience – with Mollys background in luxury hospitality, there was a big emphasis on little details to improve the overall guest experience. They offered fans during the ceremony, chilled lavender-scented towels immediately after (it was HOT!), and handwritten place cards at each seat to make guests feel extra special.
In addition to their weddingcake, part of their dessert was a cookie table with homemade cookies from their friends and family.[/field] field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]The weddingcake was simple & creamy in style, reminiscent of snow, with a bow to give it extra charm.[/field]

Plated three course dinner, salads, custom menus for selected entree choice (filet, salmon, or stuffed mushroom) with weddingcake- flavors were funfetti with mocha-khalua icing, vanilla with lemon cream, and carrot cake. Espresso martini shooters passed around with dessert!

It feels even more special as our wedding ceremony took place on a mountain with a view, and our honeymoon was through multiple different mountainous National Parks. The three-tiered cake, elegantly simple in its design, featured smooth white frosting that served as a perfect canvas for the vibrant floral cascade.
The way they honored & interacted with their family & friends on their wedding day left everyone involved feeling seen, delighted in & loved. Their wedding day perfectly reflected their personal style & creativity, but also revealed the kind of life-giving, joy-filled, & humble people they truly are.

It was delivering both the outdoors and being in a lovely garden and enjoying the traditions of a classic wedding all in one. However, garden weddings must have their florals! It’s flavors were strawberry, white cake, marble and chocolate. The groom himself chose red velvet for his own personal cake!

[/field] [field title=”The Venue”]The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino offers an idyllic setting for a wedding, nestled along the pristine shores of Lake Tahoe. The use of high-quality paper and intricate lettering showcases a timeless aesthetic that perfectly complements the overall wedding theme.
The weddingcake was served as dessert. She traveled from Birmingham to Charleston for this wedding. field] [field title=”WeddingCake”] Julia had a vision of a 3 layered cake with statement florals surrounding it and RISE Bakery did just that. So it’s both!
It featured a removable jacket, that Gabrielle removed before her cake cutting to reveal a second look. The dinner featured a 4 course meal with multiple pastas, and the traditional millefoglie for the weddingcake. Guests marveled as they watched the chefs make the cake and then celebrate with the couple.
field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”] Because our venue, La Foce (@lafoce), was stunning in itself, it was really the only vision we needed to plan the rest of our wedding. They made the planning process for our destination wedding so easy, seamless, and stress-free – all at an extremely reasonable price point.
field] [field title=”Florals & Decor”]Grace of PrimRose Floral & Event Design was selected as the floral designer for this wedding due to her soft and whimsical style for creating delicate and romantic looking blooms! They stayed later that night at the Chatham Bars Inn and ate a celebratory dinner there.
field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]The all white tired weddingcake, from Lush Cakery, was decorated with delicate fondant flowers perfectly inspired by the embellishments of the brides dress. The bride paired the dress with Jimmy Choos.
The layering of colors, textures and smells continued throughout every detail over the course of the wedding weekend. From the initial sketch hand drawn by Lihi Zwillinger to the first look with her groom, the gown was executed to perfection, and made the bride feel her most elegant self on her wedding day.
field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]The weddingcake, set on a pale pink tabletop, was adorned with cascading fresh flowers in varying shades of pink, creating a stunning and romantic centerpiece. The delicate blooms added a touch of elegance, perfectly complementing the sophisticated wedding theme.
I found our venue, MacArthur Place, via Instagram and loved how the grounds were made up of several cottages with multiple lawn areas, as having an outdoor wedding was my priority. They were both closely included in our wedding, one as the officiant and the other gave a speech at our dinner reception.

field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]Alexis and Truett opted for a gorgeous, all-white three-tiered weddingcake from the Montage patisserie covered in white fondant and a cascade of white fondant orchids. Each table was arranged with plenty of candles in clear glass and touches of gold throughout.
