The guest experience – with Mollys background in luxury hospitality, there was a big emphasis on little details to improve the overall guest experience. They offered fans during the ceremony, chilled lavender-scented towels immediately after (it was HOT!), and handwritten place cards at each seat to make guests feel extra special.

It was delivering both the outdoors and being in a lovely garden and enjoying the traditions of a classic wedding all in one. However, garden weddings must have their florals! It’s flavors were strawberry, white cake, marble and chocolate. The groom himself chose red velvet for his own personal cake!
It featured a removable jacket, that Gabrielle removed before her cake cutting to reveal a second look. The dinner featured a 4 course meal with multiple pastas, and the traditional millefoglie for the weddingcake. Guests marveled as they watched the chefs make the cake and then celebrate with the couple.

I found our venue, MacArthur Place, via Instagram and loved how the grounds were made up of several cottages with multiple lawn areas, as having an outdoor wedding was my priority. It was important to Gabby to have everything be very cohesive throughout the design of the wedding day and to have the florals be very whimsical, almost wildflower like they had just been picked from a garden. Robert planned the engagement so it would overlook Gabby’s grandpas sailboat because he knew it was a special place to her.

It was important to them that everything was sleek and then we brought in a texture through florals all while keeping the colors neutral and soft.
