That really came to life as I started going through Pinterest and thinking tangibly about our day with the Swan House as the backdrop. Actually, one of the first vendors we booked was the Ramblin’ Reck (one of Georgia Tech’s mascots) as our getaway car. We’ve lived here for three years now!

Michael and I really hand-picked our vendors described our vision with those few words, showed them some of our favorite inspiration photos, and put our full trust in them! I also included a Pinterest link with inspo for our guests to be confident in choosing what to wear. We called it beach formal elegance on our invitations.

I was able to work with new vendors and explore interesting avenues of DIY and creativity that you don’t always get to do when planning other people’s events. I learn so much from the vendors I work with, whether it’s a florist, caterer, or graphic designer, there is so much to glean from other’s experiences and ideas. Etc etc etc.
