Marek is a fan of architecture, so we brought in touches of the Mont La Salle building details into the stationery design, constructed a custom seating display (in the style of one of their fav Chicago hangouts), and upgraded the reception chairs to something a bit more modern. We also had an open bar for our guests.

My sister and maid of honor wore Oscar de la Renta, and the rest of the girls wore Coco Shop, Zimmermann, Abercrombie, de Castro, V Chapman, Alexis, Me + Em and Reformation. Our rehearsal dinner and welcome party were held on the beach, featuring amazing speeches that made us mainly laugh, but also cry.

There is nothing I love more than hosting a fun dinner party. We wanted to combine all of these elements to host a reception that was equal parts fun and beautiful. We also incorporated woven baskets throughout the printed materials and the reception design, which included dozens of hanging basket lanterns on the tent ceiling.
