Until one day I was scrolling through my moodboard and came across a dress by Alena Leena that I was always drawn to. So I called around to a few shops to see who carried the dress and ended up at A&Be Bridal that next day.
However, I quickly realized that that was unfortunately not going to be the best option for us, especially for an outdoor beach wedding in Hawaii. I was able to come up with a moodboard that infused the tropical vibes with fun & trendy colors, while remaining thoughtful to keep the overall aesthetic very chic.
[/field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]When Katie and Brad first approached us about planning and designing their wedding, we immediately bonded over Katie’s moodboard she had prepared. It was full of bright colors, rich and moody candlelit motifs, and eclectic pairings of textures and shapes.
The bride, Chelsea, had fallen in love with the idea of a tan & white checkered dance floor, which served as the focal point of their moodboard early on. field] [field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake selection process was one of the easiest of them all.
We wanted a variety of shades and colors and some prints to complement the wedding and Steph’s friends from different times in her life delivered with the perfect combination of gorgeous gowns for this special ranch wedding.
I made a moodboard and a mockup of what I wanted them to look like, and our florist, Kamala Floral Design, absolutely exceeded anything I could have imagined.
