I left it in the hands of our absolutely wonderful weddingplanner, Christie from Haus of Hera, and together with our florist, she created something beyond my wildest dreams. Our weddingplanner showed me some photos she’d found of reception tables nestled amongst flowers, almost as though they were in the middle of a garden.
The weddingplanner skillfully crafted a design that both enhanced the historic ballroom’s natural charm and showcased Katy’s favorite pastels, creating a magical and vibrant atmosphere. An extra long custom bar served a “his” and “her” specialty drink in one of the wedding colors on display.[/field]

Reception Dress : For our reception I decided to change into a hand beaded Clio Peppiatt dress so that I could comfortably boogie on the dance floor with our guests all night long![/field] Nick and I love to try different foods, so for our reception dinner we opted for dinner stations so that guests could try more than one entree.
Plus, with guests flying in from all over the country, it was important for the couple to create a wedding weekend experience for their closest friends and family, and Alexis understood the value of choosing a hotel ballroom where she could simply head upstairs to her suite after a long night of dancing.
