We chose to keep the rehearsal dinner at Acre Resort in more neutral tones so that our wedding day and reception really popped. We surprised our guests with fireworks that went off to the chorus of the song Without you by Avicii as we cut our wedding cake.

We wanted to be present. Unbothered by the usual stresses of the wedding day. The rehearsal dinner outfit was Tom Ford. The rehearsal dinner included tropical foliage: Birds of Paradise, Palmetto, Areca Palm, and Monstera. It was never about what I wanted… we wanted it to feel like us, and it did.

Bride’s Rehearsal Dinner Dress: The Bride had her late Mom’s wedding dress shortened and tailored, and the big 80s sleeves somewhat de-puffed (by about half the puffiness, but they’re still puffy!). Engagement and wedding rings were purchased at Marisa Perry in the west village of New York. Pretty wild.
