The first dance wedding dress designer was Nadine Merabi and it was done in lace and sequins. I had been scouring the internet for a tea-length bridal dress for our first dance but couldn’t find anything that I loved. The reception/late-night wedding dress designer was Berta, and the dress was tulle.

They opted for an intimate ceremony with only 50 or so of their closest friends and family, followed by a larger dinner and reception. They wanted their wedding day to be about family and the merging of two special cultures. Will and Natalia tied the knot in the backyard of Will’s parent’s house on the Tennessee River.

I loved the way the straps almost blended into my skin, so that the sleeves looked like part of the dress, as opposed to a jacket, and when I took the jacket off during the reception, the dress didn’t look like it had straps, but had all the support. Luckily, the two stunning venues are only about a 5 minute drive apart.

The iconic Hermitage Hotel, where the couple held their reception, perfectly complimented the minimally added reception touches of red, raspberry, purple, & green in the unique & eye catching floral arrangements.[/field] Dessert was of course wedding cake! “Also known as our “Nene & Papa.”

The ceremony floral installation included an hombre arch with color palette florals and the centerpieces in the reception tent to match.
