As the sun began to set over Bluffton, the couple joined their guests in the Oak Ballroom of the property, where they were treated to an all-white reception design filled with candles, glass, and white orchids and roses down three long king tables to encourage guest mingling throughout the evening.

For their Welcome Party on the eve of their wedding day, Maddie opted for a strapless drop-waist white dress with a pleated skirt from designer Acler, paired with beautifully patterned blue and floral motif pumps from Manolo Blahnik. They were both closely included in our wedding, one as the officiant and the other gave a speech at our dinner reception. I had always loved Danielle Frankel gowns as they are very fashion-forward and untraditional- yet timeless. The gown I wore was the very first weddinggown I had ever tried on.
